Dedicated SMS / TXT Short Codes
A Short Code is a special number accessible only from your mobile phone. Short Codes are normally between 3 and 5 digits long. SMS4U can register and host dedicated SMS Short Codes for all mobile phone networks within New Zealand, includes all XT Network, Vodafone and 2 Degress.
It could take up to 6 weeks to setup a new short code, or you can port your existing short code to us if you have any. There is a cost for message senders to send SMS / TXT messages to Short Codes. Standard rates will be 20c per message.
There is a set up fee, an annual fee and a monhtly fee for dedicated short code.
All SMS4U dedicated Short Codes are supplied with a free automated reply message.
